I CAN HEAR YOU PANICKING.
YOU STOP IT, RIGHT NOW.
I MEAN IT!
The Tower card isn’t, uh, popular. For pretty good reason. It’s destruction, not like the Death card which is a casual stripping away of old patterns, but actual violent upheaval. Last month, we were in the Fool, jubilance and recklessness paid off to our benefit. Now, we’re getting jerked back into reality. The Tower is the thing we fear coming to pass. We’re in for a rough one.
Keep in mind that the Tower is not the end of the world. It’s just an end to things that we’re participating in, and clinging onto, that don’t serve us. It’s about growth, change, and becoming. Like puberty, it’s gonna be gross, be unfair, and probably smell. The world will feel like it’s crashing down, and to some degree it is. What else is crashing down? Facade. Disguise. Secrecy. All that you need to know and see will be laid bare, except for how to get out of it. That, my friend, is up to the individual. Your course of action after the storm is not predictable. You’ve been reborn; who are you, now?
Injuries hurt, but the new skin comes in and feels raw, unprotected, and sparse. But it’s still there. You’re still intact, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Surrender to the release and hope that flexibility makes the impact more gentle. The Tower cannot be stopped. Change cannot be thwarted. You’re in it, steer into the skid.
